I've had my permit for 2 weeks now and I'm itching to get my full license. I'd like to be able to get on highways and ride at night. However, I haven't gone much above 55 mph and nearly soiled myself thinking the wind was going to remove me fro my shadow.

You need more saddle time if you are scared and want to crap your pants while riding.Alot more saddle time

I went straight for M1 license without getting a permit. I did about a month of riding around my neighborhood streets before venturing out to non familiar territory and freeways.

I was on my 4th motorcycle by the time I even got a license...

Yeh, I was that stupid.

My first car at 15 was a CB125 and I couldnt ride at Nite til I turned 16.That was 1982 and a restricted Lic was different than a MC Permit

They didn't have permits when I got my motorcycle endorsement.

I rode for about one month and then took the driving test.

Years without permit/license...man those days were fun....young dumb and fulla..well you know..

Me either.Didnt have to take a MC test til I was on my 3rd street bike and that was for Uncle Sam and was a written only test in 87-88. By then I had 30k+ miles under my belt
