Try removing the fin tips before you do anything you can't reverse. You could probably make money on those.
Good luck getting her running well. Gremlins are pretty common with hibernating bikes. |

They appear to be slip on mufflers with the tips being integral with the mufflers

Hey mates,
I finally found the VIN of the bike, as a result it's a 1998 VT600C. Thanks a bunch guys for the help! Anyone around with the same bike year/model? I would love to hear any comments on it, parts I should be aware of.. any advice is always welcome! |

Would love to hear all about it, but you should start a new thread for each major issue you come across. That makes it much easier to focus on the problem and not get a huge single thread that's hard to follow.
