So, I've always referred to anything mechanical as she. So when I referred to my new bike a friend told me that bikes are hes...... What does everyone else think?

To me; motorcycles, cars, boats or any other motorized toy are asexual.
They are "it" not he or she.............. Phil

Let's work thru this:
Can be moody. Can be hard to figure out. Problems are not always what you thought they were. Expects you to know what is wrong. When things are perfect everything is amazing. When one little thing is off you have no joy. Yep, Motorcycles are female. |

My bike must be female, a little heavy on the front end, tight in the rear with some sexy curves. Must be a ***** too since she loves to be ridden all the time, all day, all night, hell she can go longer then me. That's one of the reasons she is called "The Mistress"
Male? Hell no, me and The Mistress ride the Trans Canada Highway, not the Hershey Highway.
