Hey everyone - I'm a "late bloomer" - 41 and just got my endorsement. Bought an '02 Shadow ACE, which I'm really excited about. Good to meet you all!

I was 45 when I got my endorsement this year and bought my first bike (since I was a kid, anyway). There's even a thread on here pertaining to that very topic. So, ride safe and have fun!

Thanks Bryan. A lot of people warned me about learning to ride in Vegas, so I'm pretty conservative when I ride (which has been a sum total of about 5 hours so far). The bike I just bought now won't start - so I get to learn about the OTHER half of owning a motorcycle now.

PS The bike I just bought has a crankcase guide plug leak. I feel your pain about the "other" half of owning a bike.
