Gearing up for next year

So next year there is some touring planned. One trip is around 1200 miles. So I have a honda shadow spirit 750 c2. I am fairly tall so I decided to get the scootmod 6 inch extensions, I have floorboards, cramp buster with a throttle lock. I also already have saddle bags. I plan on getting a mustang seat and possibly a windshield (Not sure how I feel about it still). Can you think of anything else I may need or haven't thought of yet?

How Long of a Trip? I did almost 900 miles in 32 Hrs and a week later my Body hated me for it on my 03 Spirit with most of the goodies you described minus the saddlebags and floorboards

I see lots of people with huge sissy bar packs when they go on long trips. They sit on the luggage rack and look like a tower of cloth.

The trip itself is about 1200 miles. When my forward control extensions come in I will take a picture of them.

I recommend the windshield. I've got an '08 750C2 with a Mustang wide touring seat (it's really comfortable) and a Memphis Shades deflector.

You also might consider a GPS/phone mount.

The majority of the trip will be done in about 3 days depending on stops.
