I installed some Vance & Hines pipes on my 2005 Shadow in around 07. My bike only has about 1500 miles on it. I just got my bike running again after letting it sit dormant for about two years. Should I re-jet it with the Vance carb set?

If the bike was running fine in '07, then it wouldn't be absolutely necessary. On the other hand, from sitting, it'd be a find time to tear down the carbs and put 'em in just because.

The thing is, the jets are a tuning option. You gotta make sure the thing needs them, or you'll be very unhappy with the results.
