I think this will be a great resource as I go through the process of restoring two older shadows. Any parts lists or sales links you can recommend ?

2 1983 VT500c both low mileage, both stored indoors for years. Virtually rust free, one was drained and stored properly the other will take more work to get up and running.

I don't know of any particular databases of parts for those things, but I know they are pretty popular around here. I'm sure you'll be able to find parts on ebay and the like.

Ebay and Google is your friend.
I got most of the parts I needed to restore my bike at ebay and here:
parts honda accessories spares replacement oem aftermarket
I'm not affiliate with them, but they have a lot of new stuff for those old Hondas.
Open a new thread in the Technical Forum and post a lot of photos. I'll be following you.
