If you don't know how to remove panels and such (as-in, never even worked on a car, etc) and don't have anyone to show you, take it to a shop. I think that basic mechanical things should be learned first hand, to avoid damaging components. If you have a very basic knowledge, go for it as everything you need to know can be found online.

If you've never done any of it, it might be best to get someone to look at it. Avoid the dealership if you can, but you might be able to find some motorcycle shops that will look at it. Depends on the age of the machine, etc. You might have to do it yourself because of the age. A lot of shops won't look at anything older than 20 years.

Everyone starts somewhere. Your ID suggests your bike is an 83 so likely inexpensive and this forum is pretty good so lots of advice. What is helpful is to know what tools you have and have you done any mechanical work. Next you need to describe your problem with a bit more detail: Year/Model exactly what the bike is doing and what have you done or changed.
If thats a problem then find an indie as a dealer will likely be expensive. G. |

Why are you changing the plugs...? At this stage it's a waste of money...if something is fouling out your plugs...it will foul the new ones too...than you have 2 sets of fouled plugs...Post what your bike is doing...than follow some advice...Good Luck
