So I was trying to get the battery out with no luck. The nut inside the terminal was turning and couldn't get anything in there to hold it. It may sound extreme, but I felt like the only option was to cut the battery cable. Now I'm trying to find one. It connects to the battery itself, a ground, and then something else I'm not really sure of. Does anyone know where I could find another one.
BTW it's a 2002 Honda Shadow VLX600. |

I've never needed to replace a neg. cable, but I'm willing to bet you can find the components at home depot or an auto parts place and build one. It just a coated copper wire with an eyelet crimped on to each end. If nothing else, it should work as a temporary until you can order one from any of the online m/c stores. Take your old one in the store for comparison. The cable should be at least as large in OD as the original.
