I had always mounted from the left, until I put a drivers backrest on.
Now it's easier to get on from the right side.

Usually the left side unless it's parked in the garage . . . I park close to the wall in the garage so I have to mount/dismount on the right side.

I don't know if i ever mounted from the right side. Always left side

It is a shorter Mount legwise from the left
