Welcome to the forum. The videos and dozens of threads are your best resource. It's been covered quite a bit. If there's something specific you don't understand, people here can help. Also, I believe this mod would void your warranty if that's of concern to you.

I would recommend getting an after market exhaust. Price check your stock system, it will scare you. After market will, imho ,give you the sound and probably a few ponies too. Now if you get tired of the noise you have the stock system. or can make your bike easier to sell or trade.

Im with gmck. Find yourself and after market pipes to put on your new bike. Holesaw cutting will not only void your warrenty but it may also cause you a lot of running problems that is going to ruin your new bike experience. I have heard alot of bikes that have the baffllers cut out and they are just loud, in my opinion they dont sound that good, just my opinion though, AND that is one beautiful bike!!!! good luck and Merry Christmas.

It only voids the warranty in regards to the exhaust itself nothing else is affected. I did mine and enjoy it. Camt afford aftermarket in the forseeable future
