Thanks espiritus. I did a list of some stuff to check on older bikes which will def help. My buddy owns a small engine repair shop, so he is going to brig his stethoscope and compression tester. And oh ya, it's always fun. I rebuilt the motor on my atv for shits Nd giggles. I do enjoy tinkering, I got all winter. So I will probly change all the bearings brakes seals and fluids. Get all the chrome all shiny. Even if I don't get this one ill probly pick up another one on kijiji. I like the look of the bike and from what I hear they are built pretty solid.
FYI I did google problems with the 84 but wasn't really able to find much on a reoccurring problem with it other than people letting the carbs bung up. Thanks Tom |

Right on man thanks. I'll check that site out. So I ended up getting the bike, I'm super excited! Too bad it's winter. Needs a new battery, but gaver a boost and she started right up. No leaks and its really clean. Only drawback is the guy pulled the baffle out of the muffler. It's restarted loud, so ill be getting a new one. How do I post pics?
