As the great Jay-Z once said.

I purchased my first bike about 5 months ago and I have not had a twinkling of buyers remorse. I got a '92 Shadow vt1100c. It runs like a champ and haven't had to do any maintenance or work on it...yet.

I've been reading the forum since I purchased the bike, and now that winter is upon us, it's time to finally start wrenching on it. Figured I could use the knowledge of my fellow Shadow riders to my advantage!

I'm excited to share my ideas, and hear some feedback, but that's for another thread.

About me: I'm 26, I work in the IT field. I'm the go to guy for friends and family when it comes to computer and car problems. I consider myself to be mechanically inclined. My father used to work in a machine shop and did a lot of work on motorcycles before he started working on airplanes. I imagine that's where I got it from. Unfortunately he is no longer with us, so I can't use his super brain. I enjoy music, electronics, my girlfriend, my dog, and my friends. That's about it!
