Default Are floorboards for the honda shadow worth it?

I was wondering if floor boards are a good route to go or if I should just stick to pegs. I wanted to extend my foot controls anyway so I figured this would be the best time to get advice

I love having my floorboards on my bike. Works really well when used with the crash bars and highway pegs, which cannot be used if using forward controls.

I always thought floorboards were just for looks until I bought my current shadow. It already had the floorboards on it when I got it. Now I have to say that I really liked them. I will always have them now. It feels good to be able to move my feet around while riding.

Awesome thanks. I've been wanting to upgrade because the brake peg has been catching my boot leaving my leg in an uncomfortable position. Are floorboards a good remedy for this or do you recommend something else

Floorboards vs pegs is a foot comfort issue. Which really has nothing to do with location of said foot rest. The location is about LEG comfort. Floorboards mounted in stock location with forward mounted HIGHWAY pegs, is the way i'd go..

I need to get floorboards because my heels drag on tight turns before the scraper thing does. Hurts like crazy.

I have stock pegs on my 94 600 vlx and my foot doesn't fit under the rear brake pedal, so I have to angle my foot off to the side and its uncomfortable. Anybody else have this issue?

I had the same thing on my 500 Shadow so I pulled the pedal off and put it back on so that my foot was just over it in my riding position. I had to readjust the linkage a bit and my rear brake has become a more deleberate action, longer foot travel, but it has worked well for me.
