My parents unwittingly gave me the bug some 26 years ago when they got me a moped for Christmas. Something about the power (25cc is a big deal when all of your previous transportation was foot powered) combined with the freedom of being outside made me fall in love with the idea of riding. Since then, I have wanted a motorcycle, wanted to somehow recapture that feeling.
Fast forward to today and I am now a new, and extremely proud, owner of a 2007 Shadow aero. Words cannot express how much I love the freedom and power (750cc trumps 25cc by quite a bit), and ride my bike any chance I get. I look forward to interacting with you all! |

Welcome and good luck with the new purchase. Remember that along with the freedom and power of the 750 over the 25CC comes a lot more responsibility. Ride safe and never think you have conquered the bike.

The only thing Honda offers in the US as small cruisers go is the 250 Rebel. No V-twins until you get up into the 750 Shadow now. They USED to have the 500 and 600(like mine), but they've been discontinued here... for now.
Also, the Aero is a nice ride. Shaft drives ride very well from what I'm told.
