Yep, 55 here too and originally born in Newark, OH, but raised until 16 on a farm a few counties east of Cincinnati. Also spent 5, well, 4 years at Ft. Bragg, the family spent 5 while I did a year hardship tour in the Sinai.

I like to tell people that in 1957 they came out with the HD Sportster, the 57 Chevy, and me. Two out of three ain't bad. I'll just let others decide which is which.

Welcome to the forum.

Hello Guys.

I am new to here and to motorcycles in general. Seven months ago, I purchased an Italian styled 150cc scooter to see if I would like riding and to build some skills in the process. I discovered I loved to ride. This weekend I purchased the flaming red 2007 Shadow Spirit. It came with upgraded seat, windshield, and floorboards.

Even though it is cold out, I love the bike already. I had to drive it home 80 miles from my purchase point in 40 degree weather but all was good. I look forward to sharing thoughts and insights with you all going forward.
