New to the Biker's world.

Thanks for the add on here and I hope I will find out more info on my bike and learn the ins and outs of it. I only been a rider for about a month and so far I have enjoyed every minute of it. I have an older shadow (1995 Honda Shadow 1100C) alot of power for my first bike, but I am up to the power. So far i have adjusted to the power it was and working on all other things...like the people who do not know how to drive a car...lol

Welcome to the forum and the sport. My advice to you is to take the motorcycle safety course and invest good money in gear. Helmet, armored jacket, gloves, Kevlar jeans and good boots. There are only two types of riders: those who have laid a bike down and those who haven't yet. Dress for the slide, not the ride. Nobody looks cool in the emergency room.

Aside from that, enjoy dude! You are taking your first steps on a journey of love and satisfaction. Riding a motorcycle is an experience unto itself and will provide you with years of joy and recreation. Learn to ride, learn your bike. Download the service manual and learn to keep your bike in top condition. This is a great community and any question you ask will usually be answered quickly and correctly. Welcome again, we're glad to have you.
