2000Honda shadow 1100..ran fine for two weeks until the first day I decided to ride it to work. Went over some railroad tracks in 4th gear when....the motor died and I had to coast to a gas station that was luckily up ahead. I've got strong spark on both rear plugs very weak spark on one of the fronts and none on the other....any ideas?

Not familiar with the bike itself, check the plug wire and Ignition Control Module connections at the coil. If all that checks, test the ICM with a meter. Those are pretty brittle and can be finicky about jolts/drops etc...
Basically, start at the plug and trace it all the way back to the battery. Be glad it's a motorcycle, and there isn't much there to check. |
