Over thanksgiving I had an issue with the bike where it wouldn't. I ended up replacing the battery and haven't had a problem since. I just got back from vacation and I hooked up the battery to the battery tender. It was flashing green and then turned solid a few minutes afterwards meaning it was fully charged and just being maintained. I go to start it and it won't start. Key is in the on position, choke is on, clutch is in, and the bike is in neutral. I will tinker with it tomorrow, but I figured this is a good 2nd post.

^ditto. Are the lights dimming when you hit the starter? I had this problem but it was the kickstand kill switch getting stuck. But start simple first.

The kill switch was set to the "on" position. I just tried again and no luck. All of the lights come on and they do dim when I try to start it. I have attached the battery tender on it again but this time the red light is on meaning it is below 80% charge. I'll let it charge up again and give it a go again. It is cold right now too; it's in the 20s.

If its already needing a charge your battery may be shot.

I did try cranking it for a while so I'm assuming that's why it was needing a charge. I just ordered the battery too, probably a little over a month old now. I pulled the spark plugs off and they are moist and smell of fuel. I'll replace those tomorrow.

something might be up with your battery tender i have one too in fact im charging my friend battery up for him today. i have used it several time and i noticed it acts up sometimes. for example on my ninjas dead battery it h had the red light then the flashing red then the solid green all in less the 30 minutes. and sonetimes the tender goes straight to flashing as soon as the battery is connected. what i jave done is recconect it sever times throught the day then i test the battery with my multimeter until it gets over 14.4 volts. maybe something to look at.
