My 1998 Shadow is a VT1100 Tourer. What is the difference
between it and the ACE Tourer?
I have no owners manual.

None. They're the same thing. VT1100T is the model designation for the 1100 Shadow ACE Tourer.

The Ace is a single pin motor and Ace T is the dual pin 1100, which has slightly more power and slightly less vibrations.
That is true. But the ACE (VT1100C2 from 1995 thru 1999) was NOT called Tourer. And there was no "VT1100 Tourer." There was the ACE and there was the ACE Tourer.

VT1100T Used to designate the 1998-2001 ACE Tourer models. These Tourer models were dual crankpin whereas the regular ACE models were single crankpin models.

The 1998-2000 VT1100C3 and 1995-1999 regular ACE are single crankpin models, all other 1100s are dual crankpin
