Hi. Dale here.
I ride a couple of Yammies, but I've always like the looks of the Shadow.
I've owned a couple of Hondas over the years and I can attest to their dependablility.
Just here to learn about all things that take a person down the road.
The 305 Honda Dream was my first bike. I rode that thing 80 miles in a blizzard.
When I finally got home, I found out why there was virtually NO traffic on the interstate.
They'd closed it just after I got on it. The 80 mile trip there there in the morning had been great.
It was 73 degrees and sunny. That was in the early 70's and the weather forcasting back then was a crap shoot. That big 305 tank got me home at a crawl without so much as a slip or slid in the deep snow.
Those huge fenders kept the road snow off me though I was in a white-out most of the way.
Welcome to the forum. I had a 1962 305 Dream also. Those big square fenders saved the day for you. You were probably dropping square ice cubes all the way home down the road.
