Picture 32 year old crystallized DOT fluid. Calipers,MC,hardware and lines cleaned!!
When I got the bike it was very hard to take off in first and roll the bike around. So figured calipers were stuck so I pressed them in and tried again. Same result. Opened up the MC. Man had no idea. Didn't know what I got myself into. But noe after a few days of scrubbing and cleaning. She's back on the road rolling free as a bird and wants to lock up the brakes when I grab them. There working that good. Had a problem bleeding them. Got a 60ml syringe from tractor supply. (Don't think it needs to be this big) and I reverse bled the brakes because the lines were dry and MC wouldn't Prime. If everything else fails. Reverse bleed it from calipers to MC. Even a Blue Point (Mightyvac) wouldn't bleed them. Or resort reverse bleeding to the first option. Wish I did. Here some progress pictures of the crud I had to clean.

I used #0000 steel wool, #0000 3M scotch brite pad, Brasso metal polish (which worked better than brake cleaner and the heavy duty degreaser I used) it broke down all the old crap and polished up the metal really well.
