Thanks adlowe, I kinda thought they should be more to the right side. I will be doing the mod this weekend so thanks very much for the info.

Went down and took a look. I was wrong. Three holes when viewed from the saddle are at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock and about midway between -- all of them positioned so that when the bike is on the sidestand they will not get blocked by the fuel until the very end of the fill. NONE on the left side of the filler neck.

Sorry I got it wrong earlier. It's been so long since I actually looked that I did not remember. I know I see the holes at every fillup but I don't really look at them anymore -- if that makes any sense. If not then I'm not explaining myself well.

Followed the instructions but don;t remember if I out in 3 holes or four. I do know there is one at the 12 o'clock position (when viewed from sitting in the saddle) and another at the 3 o'clock position -- I see those when I fill up, almost always standing on the left side of the bike. I'm sure there's at least one more on the left side -- either 1 at 9 o'clock or 1 each at 8 o'clock and 10 o'clock. Whether it's one or two on the left, the important ones are the other two -- they get covered with fuel last.
