I've recently bought an '84 VT750, am fixing it up and I have a question about the dyna coils you installed. I'm trying to do the same thing, but I'm a little worried about mounting it. I have already purchased what you recommended in your forum posts and looked at it last night. What keeps the plates of metal together after you drill the new holes 90 degrees through the factory ones? Did you solder the plates together? Did you drill a pilot hole first? I started drilling through one but it started coming apart. I'm assuming you used clamps or a vice. I am a printing press mechanic and we have a nice shop at work, but I was trying to make do at home, I think I'll bring them into the shop and work on them there, my tools at home are limited. I'd appreciate any advice.

Can you tell me what bars on your Honda Shadow... it looks like you have some sort of risers on it and some straigth bars with a slight pullback ... can you tell me where you got these as this is exactly what I am looking to do to my old 83 shadow. Thanks much.
