I have had 100% great experience with the owner of All Sport Cycle Service. He does not seem friendly if you don't know him, so be warned. The first time he asked me why I wanted to spend money to fix my "rolling heap of crap" and a friendship was born.
In the last two years:
-bike tires (both my Shadow and my Yamaha)
-rectifier/regulator on my Shadow
-cleaned and tuned 4 carbs on my yamaha
- repaired a missing shifter pin in my transmission shift linkage
- been a general source for repair information
- valuable resource
All Sport Cycle Service - 978.544.6535, Jeff Castine is owner.
All Sport is located on Rt 202 North, just after the junction of Rt 2 and 202 in Orange MA. Thats about 25 min north of Amherst MA.
Tell him Rob with the Yamaha Venture sent you... not that it will get you any better pricing, but he won't think you are some random guy coming in to waste his time.
Good luck, let me know if you pay him a visit.

Hi - I'm new here, but saw your posting about a reputable shop that I'm guessing isn't too far from me. I'm also new to the world of biking (although I'm over 50, I had never ridden until last year when I fell in love with it and took the class, got my license and bought a bike). I'm in Enfield, CT so if I could find someone trustworthy that's not too far away it would be a huge load off of my mind (since I'm also NOT mechanically inclined).
Any information you would be willing to give me about the shop you mentioned would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Gary
