The seat and fender I got form ebay. My bike was a budget build. So I did most things as cheap as I could and did myself. Including the paint job. Engine enamel from AutoZone. You'll notice that I have a close up of where I cut the frame. I believe your bike frame should be really similar to mine. So you should be able to cut it around the same place. Also, notice that I don't know how to weld. So I designed it to be all bolt together. If I knew how to weld, i would have welded some of this. But still kept a good part of it bolt on.

What up EvilZombie? I was wondering if you could help me out with a couple of questions about bobbing my bike. I got a 85 vt700 a couple months back for pretty cheap and lucked out that it runs really really good! I am interested in bobbing it this winter, but need lil help in the process!

1st ?: how far back did u cut ur frame for that look?

Thanks man! It's only a 500, so it's not a very big bike. But it's a lot of fun to ride.
