Hey ya, I love my seat - after a year now its broken in and I can ride 4-6 hours with no problems. I havent had anyone ride on the back, its got to be more comfortable than the old seat but its still kinda small. If your wife is going to ride a lot with you, I'd go the wide touring seat, much more room and more comfortable - I just want to keep the lines of the bike sleek and the seat does that and for the driver... its great... good luck!
