Ya I did the pipes myself, and yes I did rejet using carbjetkits.com Bad ass customer service!!.... I usually put the ballast on the Neck of the frame in front of the tank for easy access in case of problems.
It's really easy, Take the headlight out with two 8mm bolts on the bottom. take out two screws on metal retaining ring on the bulb but remember how it goes, pull the bulb out and pull the plug off. install new HID bulb, then retaining ring. Use large flathead screw driver to help move wires around the hole in the back of the housing to get the wires through. find a place to keep the ballast and then just plug everything in. Well first you run the wire to the old plug then do the rest.
