part 2.......i do not know how much mechanical skill, and tools you have, i have done quite a bit of this kind of thing for years. it is not too extensive a mod to get a bitchin set of 2 into 1 pipes. the 2000 -2007 sabre 1100 they are designed for have a farther forward control than our ace's. once i got the layout anc cutting/grinding done, i hired a pro mobile welder to finish it up. the joint is behind the pipe, sand you have to really be looking to see that is welded.

heres the link to my "garage" where there are a couple more pix. i have cobra floorboards, but i believe the vance and hines pipe comes down behind a reg footpeg. i clears the floorboard so it should easily clear a peg.all of the vance and hines brackets fit with no modifying. as you can see in the picture in my garage, i have a stock lever with the new one before i welded it. i cut 1 as close to the mounting pivod as i could, and the 2nd as close to the bend as i could. i do not have an exact measurement. i basically put the headers on snug without the muffler, and set the bottom piece of the lever back on its mount. then i held the longer topp piece up to it and marked it.i did also cut a bit of an angle on one that kicked it down a bit. keep in mind these are new vance and hines pipes, not honda pipes. t
