I wont say anything about being is a little bit lower and easier to keep your leg away so that may make a difference. The fit and finish of them are great, the bracket fits well and holds everything perfectly. I ran them for a little while with the baffles in...They sounded good as I recall; but with the baffles out sounds awesome! Lots of bass and running WOT sounded awesome, however; it kinda left a flat spot at just about cruising throttle due to having no back pressure...I've cured this by putting "lolliepops" in them. Google that with drag pipes if you aren't sure what im talking about. Lost a little bit of sound but got my performance back. Mine included heat shields which I have not installed yet (I like the look without them) and the only bluing that has occured is right at the cylinder heads...I dont mind it but if you did the heat shields would hide it.

Ez, I'm looking at some rifle shotguns for my 89 vt1100c. What can you tell me about them? Do they run any cooler on the leg than the stock pipes? Sound with and without baffles? Mthanks ahead of time, michael
