I used "pump" hair spray and super glue which gave me extra time to set the grips in place. 1/2 hour late, ride. Done it both times with these grips in 7 yrs. with no issues.

I like quiet but I have settle with a mellow roar due to mods made by the previous owner and this had to be accomplished with the tips I made. The stock tips really sucked @ 60 mph.
