Dumber than putting a 300 rear tire on a bike or replacing the shocks with metal struts. Bunch of maroons.

I bought a second bike (Vstar 1300), and my first (750 Shadow) has now been sitting in the garage for two years with an occasional (2x /summer 8-10 mile ride.) Needs some work just to get it running...

Try using a dry erase marker on a small area....'draw' over some of the lines in the plastic and wipe it off before it dries.

The problem may be that the ink is 'inside' the plastic at this point, not on the surface.....or something like that.

When my ole Radian got to that point, it was leaking gas through the carbs, into the engine and down into the crankcase. Check for gas in your oil just in case.
