Thumbs up

I got the 6000k diamond blue 35 watt Bi-Xenon headlight conversion kit in this morning. Thought I'd have to add some wire but there was plenty. I put the ballast up under the tank, attached to the flat spot at the front behind the two black panels where the other wires run up thru (where the flasher module and stuff is).

Heh them lil bulbs rotate to change angle for high and low beam. Pretty cool. I watched it flip a few times, then spent about ten minutes walking around staring at a big black blob

This one i got says puts out 3400 lumens... DEAR GOD it is bright. MUCH brighter than the stock halogen. I am happy, the 6000 kelvin color tone matches my switchback running lights i have on the front (6000k white when running, amber when flashing). Scored the kit for 17 bucks on eBay.

Went to two MVA calls, (fire chief) and a nice relaxing cruise. Wash in between, run in the rain Friday.

Put stock baffles back in to my V&H Longshots, (still loud, but low-end is much better than being straight piped), rinsed it down with some S100, polished some chrome, and took her for a ride to Cyclegear where I got me an awesome gel seat pad!

Technically, I did these Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday...but oh well...

I built a mount and attached it and the storage box Tue & Wed...then I built and mounted an additional bracket for my relocated tag so I could mount an LED light Thur. Then Friday I remade the light bracket so that the light actually shines down on the tag instead of straight out like an extra tail light,,,and I think it looks better at night now too..

1) Storage Box Closed

2) Storage Box Open

3) First Tag Light - Day Shot

4) Tag Light Refit - Night Shot (You cant see it in either of these 2 pics, but the tag light bracket is made out of flat steel that I manual twisted 2 times in order to get it how I liked it..and to get the clearance needed for the light to shine down properly. I will take a pic or 2 of the mount and post em later if anyone cares)

Rear Turns will be relocated hopefully next weekend. Think I am going to utilize the factory Tag Light bracket on the rear fender...fabricate myself an aluminum mount and install 2 LED Orange clearance lights the same size as the red tag LED I used...less than $10 for the pair...

wiped the gas tank and chrome down. waiting for it to get a little later into the morning then I might either cruise to bar harbor or take the scenic route out to levant to visit a friend. not sure yet.

tried using it as my "round the city" bike seriously for the first time and broke the speedo cable. it kept getting pinched in the steering stop, is that common? i'll need to zip tie the new one or something.

bike seems to be running ok though, probaly be better if i can ever get my intake/exhaust choice finalised and tuned for. i meant to ride it more this week since i'm on vacation (and not going anywhere), but it'll sit more 'til i get a new cable. probaly mid-week or so.

Installed a new electronic flasher unit to eliminate fast flash with my new signals. Oh, and Happy Fathers Day to all the biker dads out there.
