Can't remember the name though but it had some really big rooms with fireplaces, really nice. And old converted mansion.
We went to Ely once and stayed in a cabin with some friends on a big lake and did a lot of great fishing, both great spots for different reasons!
The Bayfield Apple Festival is coming up in a few weeks. We will NOT be going there for that. WAY too many people!!! I'm not familiar with where you stayed, but I wouldn't doubt that it is still open. I am excited to take the bikes on the ferry over to Madeline Island and cruise the island roads.

Ely is about 2.5 hours from here, so if we go, it will be our longest trip so far. I'm up for the challenge!!!

We took the car but did the ferry to Madeline island also, lots of fun! We also took a boat tour but it gets pretty rough this time of year for that plus cold.

In new home!

Yeah,,,The first time we fired it at the house the close neighbor came running over thinking that a propane tank exploded.

Guess we should have sent out invitations,,,

Today a friend and I did the fork seals and replaced the fork oil. I don't know why they make that piston bolt so blasted hard to get into, but once we got that done it was pretty straight-forward. All back together and rode her home.
Looks like I might get the chance to pick up a Mustang day tripper seat for about $300 AUD (about $225 USD) Brand new in the box, a guy sat it on his bike and then didn't use it. he cut the bike up for a bobber instead, and put the seat back in the box.
