Now that I'm getting the bike going again, I changed the engine oil and filter, final drive oil, and plugs. All I need now is tires and I think I'm ready to ride again.

My local Honda shop has quoted me at around $500 for the tires and installation for the ME880's. Does that sound OK?
My husband paid about $500 for tires, installation, and oil change earlier this year.

Oh, and that was for Dunlop, I believe. Seems like a fair price to me...

Have 2 Stihls, including a baby Stihl w/ 14" bar. We call it the backpack saw. A tiny workhorse.

Older Brer has used the same Stihl for firewood needs for nearly 40 years.

Eldest Son has one or two. And a couple for parts.

Our family seems to like them.
Like Brer @Harryc , we have a tip to offer.
Use Mobil One full synthetic 20W-50 as bar oil. Your bar AND chains AND sprocket will last longer.
GuaranDaymtee ya.

( Use that jug of cheapA££ bar oil + an old paint brush to keep implements from rusting. )

Nothing with the bike in almost 2 weeks and it's got me itchin' and twitchin' to ride. Still been in the 50's here so i'm losing good weather. At the risk of shootin' myself in the foot, work needs to slow a bit.

Bikes been sitting a couple weeks. Needed a new reg/rectifier. Went with the MOSFET from Roadstercycle. Made for a pretty easy job. Steady output afterwards. Probably my imagination, but it seems to run better as well. Highly recommended..
Having a paella party tonite. Got a case of wine plus paella makeings for 6 in the saddlebags.
I love this bike....
