You got that right, and now I get to fix the bike too.

Started a water leak in the hose going to the over full/ reserve tank.

And a fuse went out too.
UHG!

Thanks

That's a little too sideways. Hope the repairs are quick.

Yeah, I know the feeling @Guyval
I Know it all too well, too today...
I gotta drainplug what will not give up...
Started over a week ago to change oil @ 5,000 miles interval, 150,000 total mileage Fluids change...
Only to have one thing after another cause me grief...
HONDA didn`t have coolant I usually buy, hadto order it, so I pulled the Bike onto the lift to change oil...
I had been babying the drainplug since I bought the bike and changed oil every 5,000 from 40,000 to 150,000 without problem one until now...
Oh Well, such is life today...

SO I reckon, I`ll weld a nut on the remainder of the plug soas to get a wrench on it...

I ain`t never had such a fight from the drainplug,
D

I just came in, the mosquitos can have it for tonight.

I cut off my piece of leaky hose.
I had to take the tank off to get a better idea what was what.
It appears a small crack is my problem, so hopefully tomorrow I can find a piece to replace it at the auto parts.
There's no apparent reason for the crack other than maybe someone grabbed it too aggressively with some pliers and something similar to install it at one time, I don't know.

I never found the exact cause of the blown fuse except for a really dirty license plate bulb.
I know I had a dead short from under the seat to the taillight and license. Took them both apart starting with the taillight, still had the short so that pointed me to the license light.

Took it apart and it was quite Rusty.
The bulb showed four Ohms, after I cleaned it.
Put it back together and just like that, it worked. HooRay.

So if can fix the leaking hose I should be good to go. Right?

Man good luck with that plug, I've had to use a hack saw before to cut a groove on a bolt head so I could use a big screw driver to get it out.
Not fun at all, I'd rather be burning gas and wearing out my tires.

Take care, and thanks.

She liked it, got over her nerves quickly she said, the mustang seat treated her well, we took it easy and only went a few miles. The bike handles well with a second, still go up and went just fine. I noticed I had to be more deliberate in getting her to lean, little more deliberate in the counter-steering to get her into the corners. Had the wife unit stay neutral and let me do the driving, it went well and she had a good time she said. I'll keep you posted on future rides, but so far so good.

Good deal. Glad she likes the ride.

I had forgot that you got the mustang seat.

For me when I have had a passenger I found that stopping and starting was the most different.
