Attempted to park the bike in a close parking garage...the machine said NO VEHICHLE..thus would not issue me a ticket...tried another garage, same thing.....went to the 1 I normally goto..same thing.,....said screw it and just drove around the arm!! Got my handlebar clock battery yesterday and installed that, then rode the bike into work today. Temps in the low 50's this AM made for a bracing ride! Felt good after all the high 80's and low 90's with humidity we have had recently.

Not today but a couple days ago, dint do anything to it yet, just bought and ordered a few small things to do hopefully this coming week. Bought some coolant so I can get that changed, bought some brake fund and ordered a ss brake line 2" oversize so I can change the fluid and line at the same time. Bought the bleeder kit 2 years ago thinking I was going to do my son's bike but now it's there waiting for mine! Fun time getting to do a few small things on it!
Oh, I also got a thin washing song on a stick to make it easy to wash between the spokes!
Nothing much but scheduled maintenance and a better brake line to give what is claimed to be much better front brake feel and shorter distances because of it.
You never know when one of them crazy squirrel's will jump out in front!

In new home!

God Bless

220 miles. Met @sidejam about an hour and change away from each of our homes and went for a ride. Glorious day.

I got up early at Hyner Run State Park in Hyner PA, ate breakfast, and loaded up all my camping gear. I decided since it was only 49 degrees when I got up that it would be a good idea to take the long way home on slower 2 lane roads since I was ill-prepared for the temperature. I mean, it's August and I shouldn't have to take the jacket liner along...in August! Anyway, it was a glorious five hour ride home except for riding through Centralia, which is just sad and creepy. (The town has been torn down and only a handful of houses remain as there has been an underground coal mine fire beneath the town since 1962. The sidwalks and streets remain. Poison gasses vent from the bowels of the earth. One or two crazy souls refused to move and still are there today, I believe.)

"The Edge...there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over." ~ Hunter S. Thompson

Anger and worry are the two greatest wastes of time known to man. Aside from television, of course.

Was great to finally meet you in person today @smurfy71 . We'll definitely have to get out for a ride again. It was nice that the weather cooperated. I don't think we could have asked for a better day.
