It's been 50 years since I've been through Jay Cooke. I grew up 50 south of Duluth and went up there all the time when I was a kid, I'll have to run up there some day just for old times sake.

Garage
It just reopened late last fall. It needed to be reconstructed after the floods we had about 5 years ago. It's such a fun 10 miles of windy roads, riding next to the rapids...one of my favorite drives!

Installed a slipstreamer windshield (minus the ugly red decal). I have yet to take it for a test ride. Hoping for the best!

(EDIT: Not sure why the pic wound up upside-down)

After my ride, Sunday when I parked on the lift & What with Rain having set in, I`ve got mine "up on the table"...
So far, routine Maintenance items include chain service & TCLOCS...
That, Plus looking at where to/how to mount that WOLO Bad Boy Airhorn...
After I get it mounted, I`ll swap windshield and Redneck Fairing...
Oh and I got them "Lower Lowers" off for the summer...
Reading the added legroom @soxOZ added I MAY tackle adding some leg stretch to my "Highway Pegs" too...

Lets Tinker whilst it`s raining,

Today I replaced the bent clutch lever. Good thing I did too.
The pivot bolt was loose and almost all the way backed out. I can see myself at the side of the road walking the pavement looking for my clutch pivot bolt.

The pivot bolt is back in and secured with a nylock, stainless steel, 10mm nut.

I'd put the new horn on but it was a long day and it's getting dark.

Looks Good! What relocation kit did you use for rear turn signals? I need to do the same to my 1100 spirit so i can get some large bags on it.

Be safe & enjoy the ride!

Fixed the wiring on the headlight and turn signals. Drained float bowls, hopefully got some seafoam into them. Any suggestions on getting seafoam down in there? Bike started yesterday, but not today.

Yesterday I did a charity ride, Ride for Dad. First time in a big ride like that, about 300 bikes. I volunteered as a blocker for the parade and of course they gave the new guy a busy intersection, wasn’t bad though. After the parade we broke into smaller groups, we were 20 in ours, for a poker run.
At the end of the day they had a silent auction and some draw prizes. I won a weekend rental from the local Harley dealership. This should be fun.
