You're going to splice the lightbar into existing headlight wiring? Not a good idea at all.

Nice! Now if Daymaker had one to fit a spirit I'd be a happy camper!

Send him an email and ask if he has any plans to make one. Another VTX owner had an F model and sent him his headlight bucket. Within a month he had a bracket made for it and on the market. He just needs a design, makes them on a 3D printer.

Nope.

Installing my own relay. I'm taking ignition power from a soldered t-tap in the tail light circuit to run the coil. Running my own power (fused) and ground at the battery cables. I'm hoping for a clean install. Should be hardly noticeable once I'm done.

Changed tires on my wing over the weekend! Now double dark and smooth as glass! The rear E4 Dunlop 6months old and already flat in the middle. It stands by itself!

That'll be a good install! Clean and bullet proof. I did the same thing but went a step further and added an automatic delay on my lightbar and headlights so that I can get full power from the battery for starting the bike, then after the bike is started and running, the lights come on.

Rode about a 100 miles and 6 beers yesterday with some club buddies. Low 80ís with low humidity. Now need to clean them up a bit....before riding some more!

Changed front and rear tires! And work away on my luggage rack that I bought online for my bike. It didn't fit so I am making it fit

new mounting tabs cut and welded, sectioned 3/4" out of the center and welded the two halves. Prime complete, just need a bit of light body work and final coats. It won't look like a million bucks but it is just my bike so it will do the job
