So to answer the question, I put $85 in the fund for upgrades I plan for my bike. In 3 months of free parking, I'm going to treat her to some due upgrades.

Something I suggest to younger folks, especially those that are cash-strapped, is going to the local Plasma Center and making weekly Donations...they usually pay decently for those donations, around $200-250 per month. What can you do with an extra $200 per month??

Now, the side benefit that nobody talks about...the plasmapherisis cleans your blood of fat, cholesterol and other impurities while you do it. As your blood passes through the filters, it strips away a lot of nasty things in there. What does this mean?? LESS JUNK STUCK IN YOUR ARTERIES!! that can be pretty important as you age...like helping to prevent strokes. Also, since it kind of requires a lower-fat diet, it helps with your overall health!

Downside...does leave a needle mark on your arm. Let folks know that's what you are doing,
and not intravenous drugs or insulin

Ride paranoid. Don't let anything distract you.
Keep the paint side up, wear the lid & leathers.

Well yesterday was not a fun day. I laid my shadow down on highway 14. The light changed and there was a truck in front of me and I couldn't see the light. When i went to stop I started skidding all over the place. I was about to keep going through the intersection and laid it down. I'm fine other than some road rash on my knees and right elbow. Bikes banged up a little. The guy behind me said that there was some type of old liquid on the road possibly antifreeze.

Called HONDA to check on my Baby, yesterday, they said, "We`re looking at it now." It`ll get estimated damage to stock motorcycle parts only...
Hopefully it`ll come in UNDER "Total loss" this way...

HUH???
Nobody commented between my comments???
WOW!!

I went by and put an eyeball on her today!
She`s got road rash BAD on all them wind protection pieces I`d added, but the only bent things is the fender, front & rear turn signals...
The "plastic" I`d added saved the essentials!!!

Everything else looked good...

Deer quota in Florida is TWO per DAY!!
We're really short of hunters...too many would rather watch bimbo racks bounce on the beach than deer racks wandering in the woods...guilty of that myself on occasion

At least the repairs won't be too bad!
It'l be nice to get ya back on the road!

Sorry to hear about that. I'm glad you're ok. Any type of wreck sucks especially if you have bike damage or any road rash. Heal quickly.
