Were your old ones like 4 thin pieces together, almost like spring steel? I ask because I split mine to mount the Wallo on 2 and the original on two and don't want to have them crack, if they are the same I'll be needing to make me a new mount for both.

Probably the same thing Dave, but by the time I got the bike there were only 2 of them left and one was cracked, and the second cracked shortly thereafter. The single pin 1100 probably vibrates twice as much as your 750 so you might not have a problem.

New Freeway Blaster.
Bracket lasted less than 90 days.
Broke smack-dab in two.
If not for the horn wires, would have lost that sucker.
Robbed a flat bracket off a 12V junkyard horn.
Fixt.

Had no idea anybody else had horn bracket issues.

Installed an Arlen Ness big brake kit... really gave the front end a lot more stopping power! And still waiting on my handle bars I ordered a month ago

Looking pretty darn clean-cut for a biker! Great photo! My husband never takes photos and won't allow me to put his photo on the interwebs, so it will probably be a while before I'll have a picture of us. Though we are going for a ride today, so maybe I could convince someone to take our picture....

Looks good, about how much are those kits? And do you know if they make anything to help out a rear drum brake?
I've seen some videos of their products and they look like good quality stuff.

No ride, too much to do at home and it was a beautiful day. Once the chores were done, I washed it and waxed it.

I rode and rode and rode today. Took both the VLX and VTX out for a spin today. One right after the other to really get a good comparison of how I like the two. BOTH have their pluses and minuses.
I've had my VTX on Craigslist for about 3 weeks now with no replies until yesterday. Guy called me and came by to look at it and couldn't stop smiling. I had him sit on it and start it and I thought he was going to pass out! Said he wants the bike and will go to the bank on Monday and be over to pick it up. (So we will see). If I sell it I think I will shop for another VTX. This time I would like to find the RETRO version. The fender styling is really the only difference. I'll be able to take my time and find just the right one since I still have my VLX to ride. Was great to be back out in the wind.
