Iíve been trying to do earthwork on my lot the last 3 weeks. Basically, Iíve been pushing mud around, and losing a lot of slag Iíve put down to create a drive.

Although it's New Year's Day, I thought I'd give a couple of bonus "Christmas scene" pics.

This is a typical Christmas scene in NZ (I feel a little funny photographing people in such circumstances, so they were left out)

Yep. Pohutukawa trees by the beach - about as NZ Christmas as it gets.

These were taken at Shelley Bay (Wellington), a former naval base.
yup typical Christmas pic... although this year Christmas day was not quite so flash.... solid rain and this was my parents drive.....water over the bonnet for them to get home

another bonus sunset pic.....but as we went out to take the dogs for a run no bike in the pictures

(Evening Leathel, good to see we have some decent people out and about today! Nice pics as usual too!)

Ok, sunset pics. Banks of the Hutt River (but all the river access was either closed off or occupied by peeps I didn't wanna disturb)

Looking towards Wellington and the setting sun :

And looking in the opposite direction :

Afraid that's the best set/rise I've had at a suitable time for me for a while.

Assuming it's accepted, your bike and an island. Don't care about the size of the body of water so long as you're within the spirit of the thread

(Matiu/Somes island, Wellington harbour)

If this drags on, I'll also accept your bike and a harbour or your bike and a ferry (that bit of white light just to the right of the island is from one of the "Interislander" or "Bluebridge"ferries)

Sorry Leathel, I mean the bottom two were nice! Let myself get distracted and didn't say what I started out to

We had an indoors Christmas for the first time in a while as well. Not as bad as your pics, but I did get to watch my rainwater tanks gaining some gallons

Bonus, not really an island.
I was just excited to ride a little today and saw this and thought of the tag.

Yeah but so very far from what we often get here! Unfortunately my schedule hasn't been letting me near and decent sunsets. And sunrise? Furgeddaboutit! They happen in the morning! What decent person is out of bed in the morning?????
