Day 4 we went to where the big vendors set up. Indian, Slingshot, HD, Suzuki all had their demo rides ready. Windshield, muffler mods and other accessories all done right there. The Polaris groups seemed to dominate and drew lots of attention. The only Honda booth is the one that is up at Dickson St and that is Heartland Honda. No factory presence.
We went to the free live music in the evening. We got there just when one band ended and waited about half an hour for the change. The next band came on stage and took 20 minutes to mic check, voice check, and get ready. They looked like an 80s hair band and that is what they were. Not my kinda music, but what the heck, it is free. Not that they were bad, but when the crowd started laughing at their rendition of "Jump" Van Halen, I just left.
There were several vendors offering trike conversions. Indian and Goldwing seemed to be the preferred bikes.
It was hot again. But people seemed to be having a good time.
