My thoughts on the N.C./Va/Tn area was to be able to get to the more northern portion of the BRP. Also @chevyman_ky also mentioned some great roads in the north eastern portion of Tn. I will add the Shenandoah Valley area to the poll list.

Thanks for the info.

Has my vote. That is an easy day ride from here plus I always wanted to ride either BRP or Skyline.

Thank you guys , this place is made to ride in.My Signature picture is at mile post 10 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Ravens Roost a view looking northwest at the Shenandoah Valley with the Allegheny mountains in the distance about 30 miles, my Avatar is the start of the BRP . Where the right hand mirror in the picture is is close to my house, about 7 miles.

Given the current choices, BRP & Skyline are exciting to us.

If HSN Bucket List riders as far away as Brer @Harryc are talking of being there....me,too.

Nothing against the Dragon.... it's fun, the first 2-3 times. Maybe even 4.
After that? Not so much, IMO..
Unless maybe you're going there, just trying to 'beat your best time thru'.
In which case, I'd rather just know ya on the HSN Forum. No desire to ride with ya.

Yet, if the timing for the Dragon ride is good, we might just drive down in the Ford Exploder.
Just to meet some of you heathens.

it would be hard to do with a large group but with a smaller group, 5-10 riders one could ride the entire brp. in a few days.

I just received my copy of the Arkansas Motorcycling Guide this week. There are a lot of good riding roads in that state. The guide lists 25 routes with maps and a host of adds for everything you might need on your trip.

I can understand why Arkansas was brought up in the discussion and Laura and I are talking about heading out there one day.

The poll is now closed and the votes are almost 50% for the east and west to hold their own Ride-Meet-N-Greets.

Seeing as how nobody has said that they will take this idea and run it I guess it is my baby,,,I will be adding more polls and be placing them in the "Rides and Events" section where I guess this one should have gone. I will also put links to them here in a following post as I get them done.

If anyone want to help,,,just let me know.
