Ride Capt: Patriot Guard Mission

This weekend was pretty special for me. Saturday I had the honor of being the Mission Ride Capt on a welcome home mission for a soldier returning from Iraq.

We had about 60 bikes and around 100 people involved. It was really great being able to do this for the soldier and his family. If you ever have the opportunity to either take part in or lead such an event, take it! You'll wear yourself out doing it, but it is a good feeling when it is done.

Here's some links to it:

I am always delighted to see a welcome home mission accomplished. It's the funeral services I hope to never ride in.

Great job. I am sure the soldier appreciated it.
