Not exactly. It means they get on base 250 times of 1000 at bats. They hit far more pitches, foul balls and outs don't count in the batting average.

I ride when the POP is less than 60%. I won't start out in the rain, but will roll the dice to beat the rain later in the day. I don't mind riding home from work in the rain, but don't like to be wet when I get there.

If I didn't ride because they said it might rain, I'd never ride.

And a couple weeks back, the weatherman said "it`ll rain" so the two fellas what were gonna ride with me to "Biker Sunday" decided to take the truck...
I took my Bike, put on 200+ miles and didn`t get wet
I told them when they arrived at church, "Real Bikers Ride their Bike"

Yesterday the forecast was for afternoon rain and storms. I rode the Phantom to work, The rain started right as the get outta here buzzer sounded. I geared up and headed home. I rode in torrential rain for the first 20 miles, stopped for a bit as I was getting cold and put my jacket on. Rode the last 25 miles in plain old rain. When I got home I think there was one spot on my back that was dry!!!

I dont mind getting wet on the way home but yesterday was ridiculous!!!

There is nothing like your knees in the breeze!!!

Them dark curves are never fun in the rain! Don't care who you are, they stink!!!
But, as long as there ain't gravel or a bunch of mud, it's not too bad. But, frog strangler showers up there will push both out on the road for you to have to dodge!
Ride long enough and u are gonna get wet!

Yeah, as the end of competition was nearing, I saw a phone with "red all around us" so I got outta there just in time!!!
I Had some big drops hit me as I left the speedway, then a couple miles down US19 I saw stars in the sky in the direction I was headed...
No more got me and I didn`t get wet enough to put on the rain gear...

The weather girls were correct yesterday though, scattered showers,
