Here is a thought about tread depth to be considered. Here in the US we check for low tread depth with a penny to the top of Lincoln's head. But in Canada the penny is different so will that cause confusion, and a false reading ?
So always use a US cent.

This takes me right through Minneapolis @jwinker @Ramie
If the timing works, I would definitely meet up. Sounds like you'll be cutting through the TC's mid-morning, though.

I can tell you this - When you leave Chamberlain, go across the river to Oacoma & stop at "Al's Oasis" for breakfast. It's worth it.

It's a bit "Kitschy" but the coffee is invariably good.

Also, as I just found out, carry a spare key AND know the key codes for your locks. I dropped the key to the Valk and the spare was inside the trunk - which, you need the key to open the trunk. In order to cut a new one, Honda needs the codes printed on the lock cylinders, which require the key to get to the codes.

Good luck dude!

There's no such thing as "Spare Time" or "Free Time" or "Down Time."
Time is time. All you have is "Life Time." GO.

We don't have pennies here any more. We use a nickel, to the Queen's crown.

@swifty2014 @Scared @Coop @PhantomRider64 I stay on top of my tread depth since you can't do roadside tire changes on a motorcycle...

Are there people that don't check regularly? o_O
@jwinker thanks for the tip, my free campsite is pretty nearly next to Al's, I'll be sure to stop

From what I gather, you are heading west, correct? If you get within spittin' distance of Phoenixville, I'll come out to the roadside and wave as you speed by.
