I'm trying to remember which lies I've told since you've been here. I have to claim innocence over having birds hitting me in the face though I think I regaled the masses about getting nailed by a Northern Nevada B.A.B (big-assed-bug) dead between the eyes while tooling along at about 75, then getting nailed by another in the exact same spot just a couple of miles later. I also had a bee or some damn critter with a stinger get past my visor which was halfways open and my safety glasses just so it could sting me right at the tear duct. Burned like hel! Each time though I've been able to maintain travel until I could pull over to assess the damage. Haven't been tossed by getting hit...... yet ...... knock on wood......
So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide.
Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
"Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another" Ernest Hemingway
