Aftermarket gas caps

I'm waiting to get my tank back from the body shop, new paint and dent repair. I want to install a bung and screw in gas cap and my previous searches have come up with allot of people using JB weld to install a new bung. I'd like to hear how these have held up and see some pics of Honda Shadow installs. This is what I am considering. I believe that the inlet is between 1.75" and 2". I'll have to remeasure when I get the tank back before ordering.

Why not have one welded in as part of your tank repair? That's what I had done on mine. Check out my photo link.

Too late at this point to get one shipped and welded before he completes the paint job. I'll have to see where he's at with the repair tomorrow.
