I missed last year from personal obligations and would love to go this year. I am riding to Myrtle Beach for bike week on May 18th. Not sure if I trust myself on my new bike for dragon yet. Hoping next year my other half will want to ride her shadow on the dragon.

As you know the Dragon area is nothing toy with. The Wing is much better handling than any cruiser built, but, that's with a seasoned rider (seasoned on the wing).
Don't push it, if you have doubts, trust those doubts. There's always next year.
Enjoy Bike week.

We are going to miss the Dragon yet again.

That weekend I will be on Dauphin Island, Al. participating in a Civil War reenactment. This one is special to me,,,It is the one that I take my navel cannon to and fire on Fort Gaines from a 35-40' sail boat.

Y'all have fun,,,maybe next year.

I know the feeling @PhantomRider64 , being dedicated sometimes causes us to be a bit disappointed + But it does leave us feeling fulfilled +

Our annual gathering, Ranchero USA Roundup @ Turkey Run/ Daytona is this weekend, but my dedication to fighting for motorcyclists here in GA with ABATE of GA District 13 Poker Run in Ashburn GA is the same weekend every year...
So I miss that gathering with my Ranchero brothers...

I just hope nothing comes up for me to miss Dragon Days this year...
I NEED Mountain time...

Lets RIDE,
D

My son and I had reservations at Deal's Gap but have changed our reservation to Two Wheel Inn.

We'll be arriving Monday the 22nd and leaving early Sunday the 28th. That may only give us Saturday to ride with all y'all. Maybe a short run on Sunday before heading back home.

AS important to me as the riding, I'm really looking forward to meeting some of this group.

HE is excited about the rides. We've been riding VA roads around Salem for almost a year. But he's been reading about the Dragon most of that time.

See you soon !
